Welcome to the Shrewsbury Social ClubWhether you are a newcomer who recently moved to Shrewsbury or a "Neighbor" who has been here for a while, the Shrewsbury Social Club offers great opportunities to have fun while making new friends and becoming involved in the town. Our membership consists of women of all ages who are looking to meet new people, explore new interests, support local charities, and learn more about the community. The group is open to residents of Shrewsbury or any surrounding community. Consider joining the SSC today!MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT ~ April 2013 Hi Everyone: I wish to thank the board for covering for me while I was out. They did an awesome job, never missing a beat. I am doing great and am happy to be back with you! Our next general event will be an evening of shopping at Jenny Boston. Bring your Mom, sisters, cousins, daughters, friends, and neighbors and come enjoy a glass a wine while shopping for beautiful jewelry, handbags, scarves and other accessories; just in time for all those weddings, graduations, showers, and birthdays that are coming up. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to our general fun. Wish us luck, as we have entered the Community Advocate’s publicity contest. The prize is $2,000.00 of advertising. Winning this would certainly go a long way to helping us spread the word about our club and hopefully help us grow our membership. Thank you to all who have donated items for the Relay for Life yard sale. The sale is April 6 from 7:00 AM – 12:00, hope to see you there. We plan on donating 50% of our sales to Relay for Life and the remaining 50% will go into our general fund for donation at the end of the year. Here’s to seeing the daffodils soon,
